Raw Figs x Artisan Playhouse x Higher Ground

Join us at Higher Ground, an indoor-outdoor jungle oasis located on the 3rd floor of the Arlo Hotel. Accessed fromt he hotel lobby or by ascending the hand-painted stairway just off NW 22nd Street.

For this pop-up, we're collaborating with Artisan Playhouse, an ever evolving multi-purpose entity dedicated to and for creatives, for a (ticketed) candle making session. They will be leading a candle making workshop alongside of raw figs where you can also decorate and draw on your candle vessels. Choose a vessel, colors and decor, pick your favorite fragrance, measure and mix your wax and fragrance. Pour your candle and add decor such as gold/silver flakes, glitter, flowers, additional color drops. Feel free to participate in the candle making session at anytime during the event.

The figure drawing session hosted by us, Raw Figs, will be with a minimally clothed model. We rely on your donations to keep Raw Figs continuing happening for the community so we may be able to provide materials (on a first come, first serve basis), pay the model, cover prop and location costs, as well as paying our part-time employees. Our drawing session will begin at 6:30pm and end at 8pm.
